In my role as Trademark Manager, I am responsible for Bergenstråhle Partners’ trademark business with a focus on business development, client relations and internal workflow. I have extensive experience in establishing and implementing trademark strategies on a local and global level, including naming projects, search assignments, risk analysis, application strategies, trademark and domain name registration assignments and portfolio optimization. I have handled a large number of coexistence and license agreements as well as oppositions, cancellations and other infringement actions. I am driven by understanding my clients’ business and needs, and strengthening their business by building strong brands from a strategic and legal perspective.

I have a research background in molecular biology/neurophysiology and my experience in the patent field enables me, as a patent attorney at Bergenstråhle, to navigate through complex regulations to ensure that my clients in the Life Science field get the best protection for their inventions.

If you have a wonderful family, a highly interesting and exciting job that gives the opportunity to commute by bicycle; at the same time as you get to teach judo and judge internationally, as well as train for the Vasaloppet and have some house projects and work in the garden, then you have it very good!

After more than 30 years in the fascinating world of IP and market law, I have the privilege of working with all types of issues and rights, both administrative and litigation. In addition, contracts and business strategic actions/thinking as well as identification of assets such as trade secrets, are on the task list. Having the opportunity to help and optimize the impact of everyone’s performance, both the start-up company and the large well-established one, and meeting so many innovative people, is so refreshing.
