In my spare time I spend a lot of time in my allotment as I like to grow everything from berries to vegetables and flowers. I take care of our general mailbox and make sure that incoming mail is handled and most importantly, that we have our deadlines in various cases noted when these come in from various authorities and local agents around the world. I have a solid and broad knowledge that I have accumulated over the years since I slipped into this industry on a banana peel in 1994, a job that is fantastically fun and developing and always changing.

In my free time, I try to read as much as I can, discover new things in my own city and spend time with friends and family. Traveling is a great passion, and the dream is to explore as much of the world as possible.

I am Head of Legal at Bergenstråhle and work with IP counseling with a main focus on trademarks and strategic advice to Swedish and international clients. I have experience as a lawyer at two other IP firms, but also from development-intensive organizations where I have held leadership positions with a focus on digital service development and innovation. My driving force as an advisor is to work closely with clients’ needs and business goals and to contribute to the development of clients’ businesses.

About

I Inveterate bicycle commuter and orienteer, who likes to orienteer in new countries. Has been a competition leader and initiator of the Stockholm TrailTM. Has board experience, including as chairman of the board of IP Akademin and the parents’ co-operative Pärltrappan.

Passionate about the commercial side of IP with a focus on profitable IP investments.

Experience and drive

After more than 30 years of experience in the patent industry, in various roles as CEO, Patent Manager and Patent Attorney, I have become a skilled advisor in structuring and building IP work in companies to maximise the return on IP investment in a cost-effective way and support the company’s business strategy.

I have a strong track record in handling all aspects of patent portfolio management, including litigation and freedom-to-operate analyses.

ABOUT

In my spare time, you’ll usually find me in a pair of trainers, at the gym or in the woods. And if I’m not there, I’m probably in my little studio kneading a lump of clay or sewing a bag. But I prefer to sit under the mulberry tree in our garden in France and philosophize.

In my role at Bergenstråhle, I benefit greatly from my long experience of working with IP from both government and industry. I am driven by working with change and order. Holding trainings is also close to my heart. My team and I coordinate and manage IP formalities and administration of patents, trademarks and designs, and we ensure that your IP portfolio is always up to date and secure.

About

I am one of those who managed to find a job that I could have as a hobby. I’m interested in psychology and human behavior, and it’s a good fit for finding the right person for the right place. So there will be some reading of both non-fiction and fiction. Otherwise, animals, nature and art are of great interest.

Experiences and drivers

I have worked with recruitment and candidate evaluations for almost 20 years as a consultant, self-employed and as part of companies’ own recruitment departments. My job here consists largely of headhunting and research because the skills we are looking for do not grow on trees. When I meet a person whose experience, skills and personality match Bergenstråhle’s culture, values and needs, and we get a new colleague – then I thrive. It’s a wonderful win-win. My free time consists mostly of being with family and coordinating all activities. I like being in the woods as much as lying on a beach in some sunny hot country.

Group manager of our IPM team and has been working in the IP field since 2010.
My team coordinates, plans and manages all our clients’ needs in terms of IP formalities and administration of patent validations, trademark renewals, translations, changes of names and addresses, transfers and much more.
